Birdies of Mogador is a Moroccan nonprofit organization aiming to introduce children to golf and develop its popularity with them.

Based on their sports abilities and above all their involvement, some 70 children aged 6 to 14 from disadvantaged backgrounds in Essaouira attend weekly lessons and vacation courses.
On top of the sporting aspects, the organization strives to open up new professional prospects for young people in golf (players, tourism, management, etc.).

The Fondation LACOSTE has provided funding since the organization’s creation in 2012. It also allows young Birdies to spend a day at the Trophée Hassan II where they can meet with professional players.

Actions on the Green

We owe the passion for this sport to René Lacoste’s wife, Simone. Thanks to our Foundation, 4000 young people each year have the opportunity to have fun and to improve on the greens.

Actions on the Court

In tribute to René Lacoste, the Foundation supports associations with a key focus on tennis. Each year, this allows more than 8,000 young people to discover and play tennis.
